Bouquet: Reminiscent of pomegranate and wild strawberries, an interesting fragrance tending towards the crust of bread, hints of walnut and blackthorn mushrooms.
Taste: Nicely dry, fresh not aggressive, tannic but with a well-balanced range of tastes.
Best with: Pasta with meat sauce, game, sweetmeats, polenta (maize) with mushrooms.
Serve at: 12-14°C.
