In 1900, under grandfather Giuseppe, wine-making became a profession (the family had always made wine, but as a hobby).

The original Casali wine-making company was located near the ancient, historic Rocca dei Boiardo. Here, the original grapes and wines for the company’s output were chosen.

Over the years the success of the company and the appreciation of wine lovers has stimulated continuous improvement based on the principle that: “good wine is born in the vineyard and grows in the wine cellar”. Today Casali Viticultori is located on the slopes of Scandiano, in the heart of the most prestigious wine production area in Emilia. It owns its own vineyards which produce excellent grapes for DOC and table wines.

Still today, the company philosophy, based on tried and trusted techniques, experience and passion, aims to create properly structured, sincere wines which gratify the palate and satisfy the most demanding connoisseurs.
