Fattoria Michi is placed on the South-East side of Montecarlo’s hill looking towards Pescia's valley of flowers, in Tuscany; the area has been dedicated to the cultivation of vines and olive trees for ages and assumed the current denomination in 1956 when the Michi family acquired the first piece of land.

The winery has been run by the Michi family up to 2005 when the Società Agricola Montecarlo, stimulated by the territory and product prestige, chose to share its history.
