Vin Santo del Chianti Rufina DOC
Without doubt the best and richest Vin Santo in the world. Made from Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes that have been air-dried for 6 months then fermented and aged in tiny chestnut barrels for no less than 9 years. The wine has delicious aromas of confit fruits, and on the palate it is beautifully rich and arming with intense flavours of dried figs, toffee and smoky vanilla. Only 800 bottles are produced every year. Organically produced.
