From Cà del Vént, one of the smallest, most exclusive estates in the Franciacorta. This is a very elegant champenoise (bottle-fermented) sparkling wine, made from pure Chardonnay, with a percentage of the wine aged in barriques and at least 20 months resting on the lees before disgorgement. It has notes of fresh bread and green apple on the nose and on the palate it is has a lively, long-lasting mousse.

The Franciacorta Satèn from Cà del Vént is characterised by its beautifully soft, creamy mousse and rich notes of honeysuckle and biscuit. Fifty per cent of the wine is aged in barrique and fifty in steel, followed by 18 months resting on the lees.

Sospiri Franciacorta Brut Millesimato 2004

Exclusive vintage Franciacorta, made purely from Chardonnay grapes harvested in a single year from 40 year old vines. Vinified and aged for 10 months in new oak barriques, and rested on the lees for over four years. Ripe citrus and toasty notes on the nose and on the palate it is rich and full-flavoured with crisp acidity and a fine mousse. A wine of great complexity, character and length.
