My family originates from a small town called Dicomano situated about 30 kilometres northeast of Florence on the meeting point of the Comano and Sieve rivers. The town marks the northern boundaries of the old wine producing zone designated as Chianti Rufina. It is from the surrounding hills of Dicomano and Rufina where we have obtained some of our first specialist wines.
The function of Grossi Wines is to search out smaller manufacturers in Tuscany and other provinces of Italy, producers who still make wine traditionally, pick their grapes by hand and give great care to their product.
Once we have found these vineyards we will bring the wines to the UK for our customers.
